I'm Leon Dalziel, a website designer with a background most web designers don't have.
Before I started baby-e in 1999, I spent 10 years in advertising and design, in agencies in Sydney and New Zealand. That's where I learned that a good website isn't just a nice-looking page – it's a piece of branding doing a job: getting found, building trust, and turning visitors into customers.
Today my clients range from small local businesses to organisations turning over in the millions. Whatever the size of the business, the same principles apply: strong branding, clear usability, and every page designed around getting the visitor to take action.

While most web designers work from crowded co-working spaces or cluttered home offices, I've chosen something different. My cluttered studio sits nestled in lush West Coast rainforest, just minutes from where the Tasman Sea crashes against the Motukiekie sea stacks and coastline.
From the wild West Coast, I design websites and solve digital problems for clients. Starlink keeps me seamlessly connected to clients around the country and around the globe.
It's about as far from Silicon Valley as you can get – and that's exactly the point.
